Graduate Case Study - Amanda
I studied a Bachelor of Business majoring in accounting in New Zealand. In 2002 I worked as a tax investigator for the IRD and then I spent 5 years working on cruise ships.
I found the assessment day long and intimidating. There were no facial expression or acknowledgement provided when presenting my speech.
I was put out to 3 roles with ProGrad and I had to make a decision on which one I wanted . I had 2 interviews with the company I now work at. I found them to be prompt and professional and the company suited my personality.
I work for an FMCG company, I have moved into a BDM role and I’m looking after 600 clients.
I really liked meeting others in the same situation when on ProGrad training, it’s great for sharing ideas and provides practical knowledge rather than theory.
I appreicate the continual contact with ProGrad and their approachable manner and advice.
